About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management to join its rapidly expanding residential development finance platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day asset management of a portfolio of residential land development finance partnerships. This includes managing sponsor relationships, providing strategic oversight, and ensuring the successful execution of investments. The role demands a high level of collaboration with the investment management team, as well as the ability to prepare and deliver portfolio-level reporting to senior leadership and external stakeholders. The VP will also be involved in performance management, underwriting, and land development monitoring, and will be expected to champion process improvement initiatives across the platform. Applicants for the Vice President, Asset Management position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a master’s degree preferred, and 7-12+ years of experience in asset management within private credit, real estate private equity, homebuilding, land development, or BTR/SFR investment platforms. The role requires a candidate with advanced financial modeling skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a strong capacity for leadership and decision-making. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, motivated, and comfortable working in a lean team environment, with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams. Critical thinking, judgment, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate issues are also key qualifications for this role.
