Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using standardized evaluation tools.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals, preferences, and needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide therapeutic sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and strategies for self-care to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment interventions in response to their evolving needs, ensuring effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, addressing every aspect of the client’s mental health.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to continuously improve therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Your empathetic approach will be critical in building trusting relationships, understanding their unique experiences, and guiding them towards a path of recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Nevada is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary.
