RHI is the only TraumaticBrain Injury (TBI) Model System in Indiana and one of only 16 nationwide.We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and highly organized Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing and communications initiatives.Position SummaryUnder management direction, The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders for an inpatient and/or outpatient population age 15 and older, under the referral of a physician or qualified non-physician provider.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministers SLP evaluations to inpatients and outpatients and determines appropriate treatment programs and/or equipment needs, integrating age specific needs and issues for physical medicine rehabilitation population.Provides comprehensive and accurate assessment for adults with speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing, and hearing impairment per policy for inpatients or outpatients.Develops a patient-centered treatment plan for rehabilitation of patients based on the evaluation, patient goals and age-related issues/needs to optimize treatment and functional communication, cognition and/or swallowing.Responsible for ensuring the treatment plan supports medical necessity and incorporates evidence-based treatments and outcome measures.Accurately completes documentation in compliance with department and regulatory timelines to ensure a complete medical record that supports skilled services and appropriate medical necessity.Charges appropriately for services provided and appropriately document outcome measures.Provides clinical supervision, including but not limited to coordination of care and delegation of duties, to techs and students according to state/federal regulations and hospital guidelines.Qualifications / ExperienceMaster's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university requiredCertificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association requiredSpeech-Language Pathologist IN state license requiredMust have current CPR certification in accordance with AHA standards or be able to obtain within 4 weeks of start dateOne (1) year of clinical experience in rehabilitation preferred but will consider Clinical Fellowship Year candidatesWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation package401(k) with employer matchTuition reimbursement programOpportunity to work for a nationally recognized rehabilitation hospitalMeaningful work that directly supports patient care and recoveryIf you're a strong SLP professional who thrives in a mission-driven healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you.
