Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Test Lead API with strong expertise in API testing, automation, and test leadership. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with REST API automation using Rest Assured with Java or the Robot Framework with Python, along with experience working in Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead API testing and automation activities, ensuring quality and reliability of APIs.
Develop and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured with Java or the Robot Framework with Python (preferred).
Perform REST API testing using Postman and validate SOAP web services and XML messages.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
Manage testing activities and provide test sign-off based on defined quality criteria.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders within an Agile team.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and track defects and testing activities using Jira.
Support file transfer testing using FTP/SFTP protocols and tools such as WinSCP.
Analyze application logs and support troubleshooting using AWS CloudWatch and related AWS services, including SNS.

Required Skills

8+ years of overall experience in software testing, including at least 1-2 years of experience in a Test Lead role.
Strong hands-on experience in API testing and automation.
Experience with Rest Assured and Java or Robot Framework and Python.
Hands-on experience with Postman and REST APIs.
Knowledge of SOAP web services and XML.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Jira.
Strong experience in writing test cases, preparing test plans, and providing test sign-off.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with FTP/SFTP file transfer protocols.
Familiarity with WinSCP.
Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch logs and Amazon SNS services.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and team coordination skills.
