Job Description

Assist management in developing and identifying near and long range plans to meet Defense Health Agency (DHA) service contract requirements.

Independently initiate and complete initial review of contract packages.

Provide advice to staff regarding the generation of contracts and conduct all phases of reviews or continuing assignments.

Track contract packages to ensure they are complete and sent to various contracting offices timely.

Serve as the subject matter expert of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Program by providing program oversight and ensure the Functional Requirements Evaluator Designees (FREDs) are managing appointed contracts.

Perform quarterly contract file audits to be presented to the supervisor to ensure the Logistics Flight Medical Squadron (MDS) is meeting Manager Internal Control Program (MICP) requirements.

Manage contract project milestones and budgets from planning through initial operations.
