School-Age Childcare Staff - Before & After School

Multiple Positions Available

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring multiple positions for our before and after school program at Bethel Elementary School and Penn-Bernville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Program Opportunities:

• Bethel Elementary School in Bethel, PA
• Penn-Bernville Elementary School in Bernville, PA

PAY: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 AM - 8:35 AM

Afternoon Program: 3:20 PM-6:30 PM

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Position Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working with children under 13
• Medically cleared of communicable diseases, including TB
• Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
