Senior Datastage Software Engineer
Remote / telecommute also an option. Contract role
Client Healthcare
Good technical skills in IBM Datastage. Analytical skills, healthcare background preferred but not must have.
- Design and develop solutions for Payment Engine and HSE applications in Datastage and related tech stack and other projects assigned to scrum team.
- Production batch support - Work on incidents, problem tickets
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
- Datastage Director and Designer
- Oracle 19c and performance tuning experience
- Experience with scheduling tools (TWS or similar)
What skills/attributes are a must have?
- Datastage ETL
- Complex coding and triaging. Performance tuning.
- SQL - DML/DDL
- Shell Scripting
- Scheduling tools (TWS, Autosys or similar)
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
- PL/SQL
- Jenkins
- Java - Spring
- Cloud platforms (kubernetes or other)
- General CI/CD pipeline experience
- Healthcare Domain experience
