Data Entry Associate

This is a remote position.

The Meggs Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance and compassionate support to young adults fighting cancer throughout the Greater community. Our mission is to help ease financial stress, connect individuals and families with resources, and create a supportive network for those facing cancer-related challenges.

Position Summary

The Data Entry Associate will support daily administrative and operational functions by accurately entering, updating, and maintaining important organizational data. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of records related to donors, volunteers, patient assistance programs, and community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and update information into company databases and systems
  
• Review records, applications, and documents for accuracy and completeness
  
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical files
  
• Process donor, volunteer, and patient assistance data
  
• Scan, upload, and categorize documents as needed
  
• Assist with database cleanup and record audits
  
• Generate reports and provide administrative support to various departments
  
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information
  
• Communicate with team members regarding missing or corrected data
  
• Support general office and clerical operations as assigned
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• Associate degree or administrative certification preferred
  
• Previous experience in data entry, administration, or office support preferred
  
• Strong computer skills and typing accuracy
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with CRM or database management systems
  
• Familiarity with nonprofit or healthcare-related environments
