About Alanos Restaurant:
Alanos Restaurant is a popular eatery specializing in halal cuisine, offering a variety of dishes including pizza, shawarma, wraps, burgers, and more. We pride ourselves on providing fresh, high-quality food to our customers in a welcoming environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that all food is served to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and customer orders.
- Ensure the presentation and quality of dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Assist in daily food prep, including chopping, cutting, and marinating ingredients.
- Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or needs to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain food quality and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
