Troubleshooting & Support: Resolving system issues and supporting post‑implementation stabilization. Data Integrity & Reporting: Developing reports, audits, and dashboards to ensure accurate payroll data. Testing & Upgrades: Managing testing for biannual Workday releases and system enhancements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with HR, Finance, and IT to align system functionality with business needs. Required Skills Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on configuration experience, specifically in Workday Payroll. Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and regulations (multi‑state experience is often required). Technical Proficiency: Ability to build calculated fields, maintain security configurations, and manage EIBs. Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, effective communication, and project management skills. Nice to Haves Prior experience transitioning from legacy systems (like PeopleSoft or ADP) to Workday. Workday Payroll certification. Experience with Workday Prism Analytics. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft for North America. Understands the interrelationships between modules: HCM HR, Benefits and Payroll for North America. PeopleSoft Query Manager. Demonstrates expertise in a wide variety of payroll concepts, practices, and procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to be flexible, disciplined, a quick learner, team builder, and motivator. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage issues and projects to consistently meet timelines. Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills particularly in reporting and consulting with all levels of leadership. Ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Able to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced time management skills, disciplined, ability to multitask with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with others. Strong organizational skills and a high level of integrity. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines. Understands financial statement relationships between balance sheet and income statement. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Must be adaptable and flexible to changes in priority and direction. Work in a team environment with little supervision. Ability to learn and operate new applications and systems. Thorough understanding of payroll/accounting/finance related concepts. Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft or other ERP financial systems (specifically Payroll/HR) [Preferred]. Education Bachelor's [Required] Master's [Preferred] Field Of Study N/A Work Experience 4+ years of experience in related field. Experience in a large hospital, multi‑hospital system, or healthcare field a plus. Experience in ERP environments. Experience in financial consolidations, financial reporting, month‑end close and year‑end close procedures. Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft. Previous experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM/Payroll implementation projects. Previous project implementation experience.
