Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, NV, is seeking highly motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanics. Top pay for the right person !!!SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESYour primary responsibility will be to repair and install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components on high reach equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPre-assemble and install parts including axles, hydraulic components, radiators, bearings, hoses, wiring, tires, engines, and cabs.Rework, repair and replace damaged parts or assemblies.Read and interpret assembly blueprints.Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop.Perform other duties as assignment by management.REQUIRED EXPERIENCEMinimum of 5 years of shop or field service experience on high reach equipment. Additional training available.Must have own tools.Intermediate understanding of mechanical systems and assemblies, and how parts function together.Ability to identify assembly issues and devise solutions.Attention to detail in following schematics, order of operations and quality standards.Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment (i.e., impact guns, sockets, wrenches, VOM).Must possess a strong work ethic.Ability to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English.Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.High School Diploma or equivalent.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONSASE Certified Mechanical TechnicianForklift OperatorOverhead Cranes and RiggingBoom/Scissor LiftOSHA 10PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
