Junior Data Engineer / Database Modernization Consultant

Job Location - Smithfield RI (Day One Onsite - Hybrid) Job Descriptions Strong hands-on Sybase knowledge is a must; experience analyzing database structures, stored procedures, data models, and integration dependencies; ability to support discovery and evaluate migration options from Sybase to SQL. Experience with data analysis, ETL, and ingestion of data along with the opportunity to analyze and draw key insights from collected data. Experience in analyzing legacy systems and designs. Proficiency in database technologies like Postgres and SQLServer. Perform comprehensive data analysis to support business requirements. Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient data ingestions and delivery. Experience working in a CI/CD environment with tools like Git SCM, Jenkins, and Docker. Familiarity with Agile practices and experience delivering data solutions in an Agile environment.
