Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited GP and Emergency hospital currently seeking an Emergency Medical Director to join their team. Caring for cats and dogs, this is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced emergency veterinarian looking to combine clinical practice with leadership responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role combines clinical emergency medicine with leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will carry out all the duties expected of an emergency veterinarian while also providing leadership and support to the emergency team. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24/7, providing a full scope of emergency services for cats and dogs. The practice is AAHA accredited, VECCS accredited, Cat Friendly Certified, and Fear Free Certified, reflecting its commitment to delivering high-quality emergency care around the clock.

Team
The practice currently has a team of 13 DVMs who are supported by a well-tenured support staff and an experienced Practice Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
