Work today, get paid today!Monthly celebrations and recognitionsQuarterly attendance bonus programPrimary ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, furnishings and property.Maintenance Assistant Essential FunctionsMaintenance Assistant will help with the implementation of a facility wide maintenance program that ensures the safety and well-being of residents, staff and visitorsFollowing established maintenance tasks according to policy and procedures and facility quality assurance standardsMaintaining all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and seasonal preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and propertyPerforming unscheduled maintenance tasks as directedMaintenance Assistant will coordinate with other departments work schedules to avoid interference and unnecessary interruptionsPerform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance SupervisorMaintenance Assistant QualificationsHave a thorough understanding of the best maintenance practicesThe ability to read, write, speak and understand the English LanguageThe possession of an active State of Indiana driver's licensePatience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioningA high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not requiredHave a Technical Schooling in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or mechanical is preferred but not required
