Associate Director, Clinical Sciences, Ophthalmology (Early Development)

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute clinical trial strategies, protocols, and study-related materials with regulatory oversight
- Oversee end-to-end clinical trial delivery from design through closeout and data analysis
- Coordinate cross-functional and external partnerships to ensure timely scientific and clinical execution
- Lead medical data monitoring, review, and interpretation to maintain data quality and integrity
- Mentor junior team members and drive process improvements to enhance trial efficiency
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences, clinical research, or related field
- Extensive experience in clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory compliance
- Strong scientific and strategic expertise in ophthalmology or specialty therapeutic area
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Experience with clinical data integrity, medical monitoring, and health authority submissions
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills for junior team members
