Surgical Technologist

Your future role at a glance Location: Destin, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Department: Labor and Delivery Schedule: Night | Full-Time How you'll make an impact in this role Set up sterile and non-sterile instruments, supplies, and surgical suites tailored for obstetric and C-section procedures. Hand required instruments to the surgeon, assist with establishing hemostasis, and support patient transport, positioning, and draping. Maintain clean, organized surgical fields while continuously tracking instrument, sponge, and needle counts to ensure surgical safety. Facilitate safe, rapid surgical interventions during routine and emergency Labor & Delivery surgical operations. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
