Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and support the month-end close process. Perform general ledger analysis and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations. Apply revenue recognition guidance under ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842. Review accounts payable transactions and ensure proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Assist with corporate financial reporting, annual audits, tax support, and external audit requests. Partner with finance, operations, and asset management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Support process improvements, accounting system enhancements, and internal control initiatives. Assist with special projects and other corporate accounting responsibilities as needed. Must-Have Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Working knowledge of US GAAP Technical accounting (experience with ASC606 and ASC842). Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheets Advanced Excel experience Experience using ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite and Yardi Strong numeracy, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience working in the Real Estate industry CPA qualification or progress toward certification Experience with fee schedules and investor reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr Talently
