The Product Manager – Field Technology owns the vision, strategy, roadmap, execution, adoption, and continuous evolution of The Studio , Cabi's business platform for independent Stylists.

This role is responsible for delivering technology capabilities that help Stylists grow their business, improve customer experiences, increase technology adoption, reduce operational friction, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The Product Manager partners closely with business stakeholders, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and external technology partners to ensure every technology investment delivers meaningful value.

Success in this role requires balancing customer experience, business strategy, technical feasibility, operational excellence, and AI innovation to build products that empower Stylists while supporting the experiences of Clients and Hostesses.

This is not a traditional backlog management role. We are seeking a technically credible Product Manager who can confidently operate at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, execution, adoption, and long-term success of assigned capabilities within The Studio.
• Translate business strategy into product roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Maintain ownership after launch by monitoring adoption, customer satisfaction, business performance, operational efficiency, and support trends.
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to enhance, simplify, or retire capabilities based on customer feedback, analytics, and business value.

Business Partnership

• Serve as the primary technology partner for the Field organization.
• Develop strong relationships with Stylists, Clients, Hostesses, and business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Become an expert in Cabi's direct selling business model and continuously identify opportunities where technology can improve sales, Show bookings, customer engagement, productivity, technology adoption, and satisfaction.
• Confidently facilitate discussions, challenge assumptions, manage competing priorities, and build alignment across business and technology teams.

Product Delivery

• Lead products from concept through production, partnering closely with Engineering throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Define business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Clearly communicate the business problem, customer need, and desired outcome—not simply requested features.
• Manage priorities, scope, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring delivered capabilities achieve measurable business outcomes.

Technology & Innovation

• Partner with Engineering to evaluate technical approaches, commercial software platforms, and build-versus-buy opportunities.
• Continuously monitor Shopify, AI, commerce, and retail technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Champion an AI-first mindset by identifying opportunities to leverage intelligent agents, workflow automation, and AI-enabled experiences throughout The Studio.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

• 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering software products in ecommerce, retail, SaaS, enterprise platforms, or related industries.
• Demonstrated ownership of products from strategy through delivery and continuous improvement.
• Experience partnering closely with software engineering teams using Agile development methodologies.
• Experience developing product roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives based on measurable business value.

Technical & Business Expertise

The ideal candidate combines strong product thinking with technical credibility and business acumen. While not expected to write code, they should understand modern software development well enough to earn the trust of engineering teams and make informed product decisions.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, AI capabilities, and engineering tradeoffs.
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering to deliver complex software products and balancing customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints.
• Experience working across modern commerce ecosystems, including ecommerce platforms, CRM, payments, customer engagement, enterprise integrations, and digital customer experiences.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate executive discussions, clearly articulate business requirements, and translate business priorities into actionable product direction.
• An AI-first mindset with a strong understanding of modern AI capabilities and a passion for identifying opportunities where AI creates meaningful business value.

 

The hiring range for this role is $90k - $150k plus bonus and benefits.
