HR Specialist

Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, resume databases, and other recruitment channels. Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the basic qualifications for open positions. Conduct initial candidate prescreens by phone to assess qualifications, experience, interest, availability, and compensation expectations. Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide updates and maintain a positive candidate experience. Post job openings and assist with maintaining accurate job postings across recruitment platforms. Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, and completing I-9 employment verification. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and HR documentation. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment paperwork and responding to basic employee questions. Help track employee information, attendance, PTO, and other HR-related data. Support HR compliance by ensuring employee documentation is complete and properly maintained. Assist with processing employee changes, new hire paperwork, and termination documentation. Provide administrative support for payroll processing, including collecting timesheets and updating employee information. Respond to employee inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate HR team member when needed. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and other HR projects as needed. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
