HVAC Mechanical Service Tech Tradesman (union)

Job Overview Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen to join our growing business. The role involves servicing and maintaining advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, and solving comfort and efficiency issues. Responsibilities Perform mechanical installations under the direction of the Employer. Troubleshoot and resolve problems, including basic warranty calls. Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and issues. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions. Qualifications Adherence to the company Safety Program. High School Diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with HVAC equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self‑starter with ability to work independently. Valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations. Willingness to join the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
