BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Thomasville, NC 27360 . This role is ideal for a maintenance professional with strong technical abilities, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning property.

Position Details

Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
Location: Thomasville, NC 27360
Pay: $21/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM
Start Date: ASAP
Opportunity Type: Contract

Responsibilities

Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
Perform advanced maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Electrical and plumbing diagnostics
- Appliance repair and replacement
- Carpentry, drywall, and general building upkeep
Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

Requirements

Maintenance certification required
Strong apartment maintenance experience
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
Drug screening required
