Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise conduct within the school, and oversee disciplinary procedures, keeping records of any disciplinary action. Work with the Principal in the preparation of the student handbook. Propose schedules of classes and extracurricular activities. Give individual and group guidance for personal problems, educational and vocational objectives, and social and recreational activities. Supervise the preparation of student schedules. Cooperate in the conducting of safety inspections and safety fire drill activities. Supervise the reporting and monitoring of student attendance and work with the attendance supervisor for investigative follow-up action. Serve with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives. Monitor and confirm safety and security in the building and property. Qualifications MA DESE license as a Principal/Assistant Principal covering grades K-6. Experience with educator evaluations and curriculum preferred. At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
