Radiologic Technologist

Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Day - 8 hour shift (United States of America) Radiologic Technologist (THG) Join Team Tidelands and help people live better lives through better health! A Brief Overview Performs diagnostic radiographs. Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records. Provides excellent patient care. Demonstrates excellent customer service. Performs other duties as assigned. What you will do Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Develop and process radiologic film. Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order. Report equipment malfunctions to Practice Manager or supervisor. Perform related administrative duties including completing necessary forms, labeling films and film envelopes and maintaining procedure logs. Retrieve radiologic orders from and input related data into the electronic medical record. Education Qualifications Associate's Degree in a Radiologic Technology program or equivalent. Required Skills and Abilities Radiation Safety Anatomy and Positioning Physics Computer Skills Medical Terminology General Safety Licenses and Certifications Radiography - American Registry Radiologic Technologist or eligible (If eligible, must become ARRT certified within one year of employment). Required Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
