Hiring Stockroom Clerk In Carlsbad 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Job Description

The Stockroom Clerk plays a key role in materials, inventory, and warehousing operations. In this fast-paced role, you perform inventory transactions, conduct physical cycle counts, replenish stock, and handle put-away functions. You maintain accurate records of materials in inventory and on order, ensure precise data entry into the inventory system, and support manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform stockroom activities in accordance with written policies, procedures, and standard work instructions.
• Utilize and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory control methodology to ensure proper material rotation.
• Replenish material to the correct department storage locations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Organize and consolidate materials while ensuring ERP system locations are updated and reflect current inventory.
• Accurately process all material movements using RF devices and perform related transactions in the ERP system.
• Respond promptly to material requests, stock checks, and status board emails to support internal customers.
• Pick sales orders and complete all associated ERP transactions to support order fulfillment.
• Process intercompany transfers, ensuring correct documentation and system updates.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in all inventory support tasks, including picking, labeling, and storing materials.
• Store materials according to SOPs and work instructions, maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with materials or inventory to the Supervisor for resolution.
• Perform cycle counts with assistance and help execute scheduled cycle count activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with Engineering Change Orders, Change Orders, quality holds, and material quarantine notices as required.
• Cross-train to perform all Receiving Clerk I functions to provide flexible support to the receiving area.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area, including aisle and workstation maintenance.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and efficiency.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
• Maintain reliable attendance in accordance with company guidelines.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively as a member of the team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support stockroom, inventory, and receiving operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.90 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Carlsbad,CA.
