The Orthotist Prosthetist provides comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care for patients of all age groups within a national durable medical equipment company. This role combines clinical evaluation, fitting, gait analysis, patient education, treatment documentation, and device modification while overseeing both in-house and externally fabricated devices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across all age groups to determine orthotic and prosthetic needs.
• Perform clinical fitting and make adjustments to support comfort, function, and proper alignment.
• Conduct gait analysis and apply findings to device selection and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on device use, care, maintenance, and safe mobility.
• Modify orthotic and prosthetic devices to meet individual clinical requirements.
• Document assessments, fittings, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately.
• Oversee external fabrication and coordinate a combination of in-house and outsourced device production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in orthotics and prosthetics.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics.
