Job Summary Provides administrative support to the OR department. Schedules surgical procedures. Generates reports and maintains automated database. Responsible for system operations including the process related to daily data entry, surgical schedule, backup files, routine and custom reports. Completes purchase orders, coordinating supplies, equipment and inventory. Files and maintains logs. Accepts patient medications from pharmacy or tube station and gives directly to the charge nurse or assigned nurse. Job Requirements a. Minimum Education Requirement : High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Medical terminology desirable. b. Minimum Experience Requirement : Office or hospital experience preferred. Data entry and computer experience highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills required. c. Minimum License Requirement : BLS required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
