Registered Nurse ICU

$2080.80/week - Job Summary: Provides specialized critical care nursing services in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), ensuring patient safety and delivering advanced clinical interventions during 12-hour night and day shifts. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities: Administer comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies. Utilize advanced clinical skills to interpret ECG rhythms and implement appropriate interventions. Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with hospital policies. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and update individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and procedural requirements throughout assignments. Participate in orientation, mandatory trainings, and ongoing competency assessments. Qualifications: Possess a valid permanent Ohio license or active compact license in hand at time of submission. Have at least 18 months of recent SICU experience, travel experience acceptable. Hold current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; active and in-hand. Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores. Be willing to work every other holiday, with flexibility for rotating shifts and variable scheduling. Pass background checks, drug screens, and drug testing within required timeframes.
