What You'll Do

The Enterprise Risk Management Analyst supports Trumark's enterprise risk management program with a strong focus on third-party risk and vendor management. This role evaluates risk and controls, monitors third-party relationships, and helps identify opportunities to strengthen processes and reduce risk across the organization.

This role also supports broader enterprise risk activities, including business continuity and disaster recovery, regulatory examinations, insurance renewals, policy and procedure development, and other initiatives that impact the credit union's overall risk environment.

You will:

• Analyze potential and existing third-party vendor relationships through ongoing tracking, risk assessment, and input from internal subject matter experts.
• Conduct risk assessments to evaluate risks, controls, and potential business impact.
• Prepare departmental risk mapping and diagrams to support risk identification and analysis.
• Develop corrective action plans to manage and mitigate identified risks.
• Gather data and conduct research to support annual insurance policy renewals.
• Communicate with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, attorneys, law enforcement, vendors, and other parties.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable consumer banking laws and regulations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
• Support the development, modification, and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives with enterprise risk impact.
• Support preparation and documentation for regulatory examinations.

What You Bring to the Table

Education

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, finance, accounting, or a related field.

Experience

• Two or more years of experience in enterprise risk management, including exposure to third-party vendor management.

Skills

• Knowledge of fundamental enterprise risk management practices and controls.
• Skill in conducting risk assessments and evaluating the effectiveness of controls.
• Skill in collecting and analyzing information to identify risks, trends, and potential impacts.
• Ability to evaluate third-party relationships and identify potential areas of risk.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate solutions and approaches to complex problems.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, governmental regulations, and professional publications.
• Ability to develop clear reports, business correspondence, and risk-related documentation.
• Ability to communicate information effectively to senior management, vendors, regulators, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate work.
