Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1-South Braddock Avenue, Pittsburgh

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at South Braddock Avenue in Pittsburgh. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of store presentation. This position supports the daily operation of a busy retail liquor store by assisting with staff leadership, customer service, and product management. As a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1, you will perform the following duties: Store Operations: Supervise store activities during shifts and ensure that procedures are followed Team Leadership: Guide employees by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and offering support Customer Assistance: Help customers with product questions and maintain a welcoming environment Inventory Support: Assist with tracking stock levels and keeping displays organized Compliance Oversight: Support adherence to laws and policies related to alcohol sales Safety and Preparedness: Lift products safely and maintain a clean and safe store environment At Fine Wine & Good Spirits, you will be given the opportunity to build your skills while working in a state-owned retail store that focuses on strong customer service and teamwork. Minimum Experience and Training Requirements One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of lead retail sales work.
