An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) responsibilities at a 340B specialty pharmacy located in Bronx, NY. This contract position is until a permanent placement is secured, offering a valuable experience managing pharmacy operations in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medication support and education to patients, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Manage and guide pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, fostering continuous learning and skill development.
• Oversee pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient safety and uphold pharmacy professional practice standards.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and quality assurance measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license.
• Experience levels from entry to advanced are welcomed.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse pharmacy team effectively.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
