LC-MS/MS and Proteomics Analytical Scientist

Eurofins seeks a Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Scientist to support discovery research, LNP formulation development, and bioanalytical activities in Boston. The role involves LC-MS/MS analysis, automated sample processing, assay optimization, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform LC-MS/MS quantification of proteins and analytes in biological matrices using established methods
• Set up and operate automated high-throughput sample processing with liquid-handling systems
• Conduct MS-based and non-MS-based experiments supporting discovery, formulation, analytical, and CMC objectives
• Troubleshoot and optimize analytical assays and laboratory workflows with minimal supervision
• Analyze experimental data, maintain accurate ELN documentation, and communicate findings through reports and presentations

Requirements

• B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 1+ years industry experience, or M.S. with 3+ months experience
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and proteomics workflows
• Proficiency in quantitative proteomics including sample preparation, digestion, and peptide analysis
• Demonstrated laboratory skills: pipetting, liquid handling, sample preparation, safe material handling
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and electronic laboratory notebook documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present technical information clearly
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently and collaboratively

Compensation: $31.50-$41.00 per hour based on education and related industry experience
