Qualification: • Bilingual • At least 1 year of Front desk receptionist experience • Able to commute to location and arrive on time

Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts

Answers telephones from patients and/or other providers

Make patient appointments

Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records

Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information

Completes patient check-in and check-out

Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges

Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes

Time management

Medical records

Collecting patient copays and balances

Getting charts ready for clinic with all the paper work

Taking photos of patients and obtaining medical insurance cards and uploading them to the EHR

We are a small Orthopedic Surgery private practice looking for an English and Spanish, hard-working, friendly, and organized medical receptionist.

This is a full-time position where you will be at the office Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

We are located at 288 Feeder Museum District
