Sr. Salesforce DeveloperThe Office of the Attorney General of Texas requires the services of a Software Developer 2, who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. The OAG is seeking a talented individual to help us revolutionize the way our Child Support Division manages workflows and delivers value. The ideal candidate will work on our Document Generation project by developing and maintaining applications on the Salesforce platform and work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of our agency systems.Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain applications on the Salesforce platformCollaborate with cross functional team members to design and develop new solutions to meet business requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve issues in Salesforce applicationsPerform System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Code ReviewsCreate and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce applicationsContinuously improve the performance and scalability of Salesforce applicationsEnsure compliance with Salesforce development best practices and standards and stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologiesThe job description and requirements are general in nature and may be subject to change based on the specific needs and requirements of the organization and project.Candidate Skills and Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:5 years required: Proficiency in Salesforce platform development5 years required: Proficiency in Integration platforms with Salesforce such as MuleSoft and PostgreSQL5 years required: Ability to meet deadlines, clear blockers, communicate delays, and clarify ambiguous requirements5 years required: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills5 years required: Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment5 years required: Ability to work independently and as part of a team5 years required: Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals, clients, and stakeholders4 years required: Experience with project/issue tracking systems such as JIRA4 years required: Experience with Agile development methodologies4 years preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
