Bioanalytical Scientist

Eurofins seeks a bioanalytical scientist to develop and execute immunology-based cell assays supporting vaccine programs. The role involves flow cytometry, ELISpot, and immunogenicity testing, with responsibility for assay optimization, instrument maintenance, and regulated laboratory documentation at the Spring House, PA facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex cell-based and immunology-based bioanalytical assays using flow cytometry, ELISpot, MSD, and Luminex platforms
• Perform assay setup, sample processing, data acquisition, review, and interpretation with high technical rigor
• Support assay development, optimization, and qualification for nonclinical and clinical biomarker applications
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation including flow cytometers, cell sorters, and robotic platforms
• Prepare reagents, controls, perform PBMC isolation, maintain compliant records, and assist in SOP development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 3–5 years, or Master's plus 1–2 years hands-on experience in immunology, cell biology, or related life sciences
• Demonstrated experience executing cell-based or immunology-based bioanalytical assays in a laboratory setting
• Proficiency with flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, MSD, Luminex, or PBMC-based assay platforms
• Knowledge of regulated laboratory practices including GLP/GxP principles and Good Documentation Practices
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
• Strong scientific judgment, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot assay and instrument issues independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
