We've built strong lasting relationships with many customers over years of consistent, measurable performance.Location: Hillside, ILReports to: Warehouse SupervisorEssential Duties/ResponsibilitiesThis position will manage and play an essential role in all aspects of our warehouse receiving processes of our company.Accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper departmentEnsures purchase order number is on all paperworkRecords and checks quantity and quality of good receivedInspect, accept, or reject inbound shipmentsOperates with a sense of teamworkUnderstands and adheres to organizational and department policy and proceduresCommunicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repairProperly inputs received material into computer systemDelivers product to appropriate internal personnelPerform cycle counts regularlyEstablishes and supports effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managersMaintains a safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulationsMaintains job-related confidentialityAssists in other departments as neededRequirementsQualifications:High school diploma/GED are required.4+ years' experience in a warehouse environment in a leadership position3+ years' experience operating stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, and other non-powered material handling experience is required.Experience in the mail industry is greatly preferredOrganizational and multi-tasking skills and familiarity with MS office programs are a requirement to support the customerAbility to work within a team environment (Department, other company departments & outside vendors) and maintain positive attitude is necessaryStrong and accurate data entry experienceAbility to communicate respectfully and effectively both verbally and in writing alwaysAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, work with minimum supervision, and attention to detail is requiredCertified to operate standup forkliftComputer literateFluency in English is required.Work Environment/Physical Demands:Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 3 hoursLift up to 50lbsIntermittent bending up to 3 hours.
