Job Title: Team Lead
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Pay: $24 - $26/hr
Shift: 1st shift – 3:00am - 1:30pm, Monday - Friday (lots of overtime available!) Key Responsibilities:

• Guide, monitor, and support workers in daily production activities
• Receive packaging specs and work orders; ensure packaging materials and labels are accurate
• Enforce all safety rules and escalate issues as needed
• Operate handheld scanners and manufacturing software for inventory management and all manufacturing transactions
• Issue ingredients, report production, manage inventory inquiries, print labels, transfer products, and reconcile staging areas
• Utilize computers for basic automated reports and work order requests
• Organize crew member lunches and breaks
• Operate production equipment safely and ensure compliance among crew
• Assign and ensure daily housekeeping/sanitation responsibilities per GMP standards
• Monitor product quality and safety documentation; report production data
• Update communication boards and hold shift change meetings with incoming leads
• Assign and perform QC testing throughout the shift
• Drive efficiency and address bottlenecks and product loss
• Ensure HACCP and CQP checks and documentation are completed
• Train crew in allergen procedures and ensure compliance with allergen policies
• Train team members across different production line responsibilities
