Discovery Imaging Sales Specialist

Cytiva seeks a Discovery Imaging Sales Specialist to drive sales of imaging systems and western blotting instruments within the Boston and Cambridge region. The role involves building customer relationships, delivering technical demonstrations, and managing territory financial targets for the Lab Imaging portfolio. Candidates should hold a life sciences degree and possess at least four years of commercial sales or technical support experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of imaging systems and western blotting products to life sciences customers
- Evaluate customer processes to identify imaging solutions and generate additional sales opportunities
- Achieve operating plan targets and forecast pipeline/sales using Salesforce
- Develop quarterly business plans for assigned territory including opportunity generation and competitive strategies
- Execute product demonstrations, customer training, seminars, and promotional activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life or physical sciences; master's or doctoral degree preferred
- 4+ years commercial sales experience or laboratory/technical support background
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Experience organizing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel within Boston and Cambridge metro territory
Compensation: $105,000-$120,000 base plus bonus/incentive pay
