Registered Nurse (RN) - Day ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift, 3x12.0 hours.The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care by adhering to the nursing care plan. This role includes the supervision of LPNs, CNAs, and orientees, along with a strong emphasis on patient and employee safety.Responsibilities:Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.Identify teaching needs and goals based on nursing admissions assessments.Provide timely patient information and status for initial and re-evaluation team conferences.Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and succinctly.Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and prioritize the education of patients and families.Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.Communicate pertinent information regarding patient status changes to all care providers.Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.Ensure personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital policies.Maintain communication with management regarding service needs, supplies, and equipment.Assume charge responsibility as requested and contribute to team-building activities.Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study.Perform additional duties as requested.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:BLS Certification required prior to first shift.ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
