About this role As the Commercial Service Account Manager you will be responsible for pursuing opportunities for service agreements, quick turn projects to keep our customers operating effectively, and pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment. Responsibilities Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions, including service agreements, repairs, and modernizations. Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans when necessary. Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities. Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions. Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline. Attract new customers and build share value with existing customers. Seek out and access new service agreement opportunities with existing and prospective customers. Seek out or respond to repair opportunities. Establish and build credibility with knowledge of Carrier products and solutions. Develop and sustain customer relationships. Articulate the value of Carrier’s offerings and how they map to customers’ needs. Detect the customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly. Deliver effective presentations and communication. Prioritize on best opportunities. Respond to customer requirements in a timely manner. Secure booking/order in a timely manner. Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets. Negotiate service agreement renewals when required. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2+ Years of Commercial HVAC Sales Experience. Must be able to lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and be comfortable working on roofs/platforms. Ability to pass a MVR background check. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based computer software. Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal‑oriented with strong time management and organizational skills. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to sell directly to end‑user customers. Experience selling service agreements. Ability to introduce others to cross‑sell and upsell within their base of customers. Ability to work in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment. Ability to identify opportunities to proactively sell preventative repair/upgrade packages. Self‑motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $158,000.00, inclusive. Factors that may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
