Seeking experienced professionals with NYCDEP or local Water Municipality project experience to work in Ulster County. Transportation experience will also be considered.Must be willing to work onsite in Ulster County near Ashokan Reservoir in the Town of Olivebridge as well as Rondout Reservoir in Grahamsville, NY. We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.In the role of Resident Engineer, we'll count on you to:Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and proceduresConduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and schedulingReceive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required dataPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsA minimum of 10 years experience in construction engineeringLocal candidates given preferenceCCMRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related fieldPrevious construction engineering experienceRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.Experience using Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based document collaboration software.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR is our company.
