JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Production Assistant to join The Bottom Line with Dagen McDowell & Brian Brenberg on FOX Business. As a Production Assistant, you will help produce materials including video montages, SOTs & graphics daily. Qualified candidates should have a solid understanding of the news of the day. You must know how to work quickly under pressure in a collaborative editorial environment while maintaining quality standards. Good time management and organization is a must. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Cut video & SOTs, with varying degrees of difficulty Create topical graphics to correspond with news of day segments Compile research on topics discussed in the show Assist anchors with pre-show preparation Assist segment producers with gathering elements for air WHAT YOU WILL NEED Prior television (or similar) experience Ability to work collaboratively with others under intense deadline pressure Ability to understand and execute tasks as instructed by others Ability to work independently Flexibility to pivot at a moment’s notice given the fast-paced news environment Willingness and eagerness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism Knowledge of business news, politics, and current events Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience #LI-BC1 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $19.00-27.65 per hour.
