As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. Pay Rate: $19.29 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, perimeter, and critical infrastructure areas; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry requirements to help deter unauthorized access to data center and telecommunications-related areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
