About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State Respiratory Care license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: NICU/PICU experience Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Unit has a total of 154 beds. Patient ratios according to facility standards. Available equipment includes Servo U for adults and pediatrics and Drager VN500 for infants. High Frequency Jet Vent available for infants. Documentation system is MEDITECH. Scheduling requirements are for 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Floating policy is not applicable. Advanced skills are required for the position. Procedures performed on the unit align with respiratory therapy standards. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Unit specific policies and guidelines apply as per facility standards.
