The Role
We're looking for a US Country Director to take ownership of our US commercial performance and play a key role in Dabble's next stage of growth.

Dabble has an ambitious strategy to 2030, built around three key pillars:

The US is a big part of these ambitions, and this role will have a real say in how we grow and compete in the market.

Reporting to our Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer, you'll own US Net Revenue performance and help shape where we invest, what we prioritise and how we compete.

You'll be the expert on the US wagering market, understanding our customers, what drives profitability, where the opportunities are and how we stack up against the competition.

Working closely with our global Marketing, Product, Trading and Customer Value teams, you'll bring the right people together to turn commercial opportunities into results.

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a key market, influence decisions at the highest level and help shape Dabble's future in the US.

• Take ownership of US Net Revenue performance, including commercial planning, forecasting, budgets and delivery against targets

• Develop and deliver the US commercial strategy, identifying opportunities to grow revenue, improve profitability and strengthen our position in the market

• Build a deep understanding of our US customers, including acquisition, retention, player behaviour and what drives long-term customer value

• Use customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, cohort performance and retention data to guide investment decisions and ensure we're spending in the right areas

• Work closely with our Trading teams to understand pricing, margins, promotional activity and how these impact overall commercial performance

• Get hands-on with performance data to understand what's driving results, identify areas for improvement and turn insights into clear recommendations

• Work closely with Marketing, Product, Trading, Customer Value, Data, Finance and Compliance to align priorities and deliver results for the US market

• Lead the commercial planning for US product launches and campaigns, working with teams from initial planning through to launch and post-launch performance reviews

• Keep across the US wagering market, including competitor activity, emerging operators, regulatory developments and industry trends, to identify opportunities and potential risks

• Represent the US business in global planning, product prioritisation and investment discussions, providing clear commercial insights and recommendations to the Executive and Board

Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience within the US online sports betting, sportsbook or iGaming industry, with a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape

• Demonstrated experience owning revenue, commercial performance or P&L outcomes within a consumer-facing business

• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, margins and investment decisions

• A solid understanding of sportsbook trading fundamentals, including pricing, hold, liability and promotional costs

• Experience using customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, retention and cohort analysis to inform commercial decisions

• Proven experience developing commercial strategies and delivering measurable business growth.

• Comfortable getting hands-on with data, challenging assumptions and using insights to make decisions rather than relying solely on reports

• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working across multiple functions, particularly Marketing, Product, Trading and Finance

• A strong understanding of the US wagering landscape, including state-by-state regulations, market economics and how these impact commercial decisions

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $240,000 USD + benefits with room to be flexible.

Primary Location

Our preference is for this role to be based in Austin, Texas. For the right candidate we would consider a fully remote position, however you would need to be based in one of the following states: Texas, Nevada, Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania.
