Position Overview The CPR Instructor will be responsible for delivering American Red Cross (ARC) CPR/BLS training to individuals and groups. This includes preparing lesson plans, demonstrating proper techniques, and ensuring students meet certification requirements. Work Location Primary Location: 2-14 Fair Lawn Ave, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 Additional Locations: Classes may also be held at client sites such as offices, schools, and community centers. License / Certification American Red Cross CPR/BLS Instructor Certification American Heart Association BLS Instructor Certification Teaching Equipment The CPR instructor who owns enough manikin sets (3+ Sets) is required. Key Responsibilities Deliver ARC CPR/BLS training sessions Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques Evaluate student performance and provide feedback Ensure compliance with American Red Cross standards Maintain and manage training equipment Provide excellent customer service to students and clients Requirements 2+ years of teaching experience Valid CPR Instructor Certification (ARC preferred) Strong knowledge of CPR/AED techniques Excellent communication and teaching skills Ability to manage classroom environments effectively Strong organizational and time‑management skills Physical Demands Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry training equipment, up to 50 pounds. Must be able to demonstrate proper CPR and AED techniques. Schedule Work may be performed primarily during weekends.
