PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading industrial manufacturing organization to hire a skilled Industrial Electrician for its Maintenance Department in Sealy, TX. In this high-impact role, you’ll be essential to keeping production lines running safely and efficiently—troubleshooting complex electrical systems, maintaining critical equipment, and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a safety-focused electrician who thrives on solving problems, working with advanced machinery, and ensuring operational reliability across the facility.

Schedules:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

(Most Saturdays required)

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot, test, and repair three-phase motors and production machinery

• Diagnose electrical issues and repair systems down to the component level

• Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics and blueprints

• Use diagnostic tools including multimeters, meggers, and other testing equipment

• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications

• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA-70E, and OSHA safety standards

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation (CMMS systems)

• Assist with inventory tracking and spare parts management

• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely

• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency

Required & Preferred Qualifications Required

• Valid Electrician Certificate

• 1+ year of experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Three-phase motors

  • Industrial electrical systems and machine maintenance

  • Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

• Strong basic math skills for electrical calculations

• Familiarity with electrical safety standards (NEC, OSHA)

• Ability to operate forklifts and industrial equipment safely

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Preferred

• Experience in automation or controls systems

• Prior experience working with CMMS systems

• Background supporting production or high-volume manufacturing environments

Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
