QDI Surfaces, a trailblazer in the flooring business, is on the lookout for a vibrant and talented Customer Service Representative to join our bustling Tucson showroom. This role, though non-supervisory, is a pivotal part of our innovative sales team, offering a dynamic mix of responsibilities to keep you engaged and excited. Job Functions Answer incoming calls regarding pricing/availability, product questions/uses and general inquiries from our customers, providing superior customer service. Efficient order entry using Acctivate software with compiled data from customers, precise calculations, and audited product verification before entry. Collect payment accurately according to company procedures. Coordinate customer material pick‑ups with warehouse personnel and/or arrange pick‑up schedules with outside freight companies, verifying outgoing product counts using invoices to ensure accuracy. Service existing accounts and obtain new accounts wherever possible through direct referrals, outbound/inbound sales calls or proper means. Assist in completion of customer files, including Client Information sheets, tax exempt certificates (Form 5000), Credit card authorization forms, and maintaining records by scanning and filing. Communicate with the sales team regarding customer inquiries and leads, including follow‑up. Greet customers and the team as they come into the showroom or via inbound phone calls. Present the QDI product line and answer questions from customers. Execute specific marketing projects assigned by GM or Operations Manager. Attend industry‑related networking events when necessary. Maintain sample room and update sample inventory. Suggest improvements to the overall process. Successful Candidates 3-5 years in customer service, preferably natural stone industry experience. Well organized and self‑disciplined – attention to detail a must. Professional appearance with good attendance. Problem‑solving skills with a proactive habit. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Team player. Good computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
