Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues both collaboratively with physicians and independently (based on your licensure)
• Providing education to patients and families about wellness, prevention, and disease management techniques
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your professional scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Maintaining meticulous records through electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Nursing, either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a related specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to obtain within 90 days)
