This position centers on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment across all building systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire, and Life Safety systems. We're seeking a technician with a strong plumbing background who is also well-rounded across multiple trades. You'll manage complex building systems, respond to emerging issues as they arise, and ensure our facilities meet and exceed applicable standards while our clients' operations continue seamlessly. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves, and our fellow employees, and your technical skills will be essential to delivering the reliable, high-quality facility operations our clients depend on.**What your day-to-day will look like:*** Operate, maintain, and repair Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to keep all facility and building systems performing to applicable standards* Perform advanced plumbing repairs and installations including pulling and reinstalling toilets and urinals, installing and repairing faucets, water fountains, and ice machines* Utilize specialized plumbing equipment including augers, jetters, and drain cameras to diagnose and resolve drainage issues throughout the facility* Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and associated equipment, including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts to maintain optimum performance levels* Record equipment readings and system parameters, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation and identifying potential issues before they escalate* Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors to ensure standards are met and costs remain competitive* Maintain responsibility for facility services, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance coordination, and general maintenance tasks* Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory to ensure all equipment is available, properly maintained, and ready for use* Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, including ballast replacement throughout the facility**Required qualifications:*** 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems with demonstrated expertise in plumbing* Proficiency with specialized plumbing tools and equipment including augers, jetters, and drain cameras* Experience installing and repairing plumbing fixtures including toilets, urinals, faucets, water fountains, and ice machines* Ability to analyze the operation of various industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of problems or malfunctions, and take corrective action* Working knowledge of CMMS (i.e. Corrigo)* High school diploma or GED equivalent* Physical ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time* Ability to work exposed to varying environmental conditions including heat, sunlight, rain, cold, and both daylight and nighttime hours**Preferred qualifications:*** EPA 608 Type II Certification or higher for refrigerant handling* Additional EPA certifications (Universal certification preferred)* Plumbing trade certification or technical school training* Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)* Trade certifications in HVAC or Electrical disciplines* Experience working in mission-critical facilities or environments requiring 24/7 operationsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
