Loan Closing Analyst

The role is responsible for managing a portfolio of Par LSTA loan trades from trade date through settlement, ensuring accurate execution and effective client service throughout the lifecycle. It supports Wholesale Lending through daily processing activities, including trade review, reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution. The position also involves ad hoc reporting as required to maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency. To be successful as a Loan Closing Analyst, you should have: Relevant background in finance, economics, or a related discipline Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook Experience supporting or processing LSTA Par or Distressed loan trades Some other highly valued skills may include: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job‑specific technical skills. This role is located in Wilmington, DE. Purpose of the role To support Wholesale Lending with day‑to‑day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. Accountabilities Support with day‑to‑day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise. Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements. Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes. Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes. Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency. Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders. Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services. Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness. Analyst Expectations Will have an impact on the work of related teams within the area.
